Ubisoft's Big Franchises Win, Wii Games Lose -... →
What does this say about the Wii? It doesn’t look good especially after EA said essentially the same kind of thing not too long ago. It seems the Wii is having the same problem with 3rd party support that seemingly every Nintendo console does. With the GameCube they didn’t get support in the first place. With the Wii, they got the support, but the Wii owning audience either don’t...
Tweetie 2.1 is out and while it’s not a game changer, it does have list support and a bunch of other new updates.
I kinda feel like I need Super Street Fighter 4, even though I don’t really play the current one. I guess Capcom have a good marketing team.

This would have been useful a while ago when I had my laptop hdd fail on me. Nice to know that stuff like this is available anyway.
Video: 5 Things you might have missed in Ratchet &... →
I finished the main story in Ratchet & Clank: ACIT. I loved the whole game but the second to last boss battle had a frustrating platforming section where you have to use the hoverboots. I did it in the end but got frustrated while it took me quite a few attempts to get it done. Apart from that though I really enjoyed it and heavily recommend it.
DSi LL Selling Faster Than PSPgo - Kotaku →
I’m not sure what this says more. That the PSP go is a poorly thought out product, or the DSi LL is so successful with its casual appeal.
I think when you look at these two devices, it’s debatable as to which company actually put more effort into making them. You could say that they’re about the same but I feel that Sony are probably putting more effort in to fit the current...
'World of Warcraft' Marks Fifth Birthday →
‘World of Warcraft’, the massively multiplayer online game played by more than 12 million people, is five years old today.
Which Game Was That Again? - Amazon - Kotaku →
I’m not sure whether this is more funny or sad.
Been writing a few reviews recently and getting my more formal blog more active in the process. Use the link on the right side to go and check them out.
Currently playing new super mario bros, critter crunch and LBP PSP, not to mention Left 4 Dead 2. More on all those games soon.
You can see my full review of F1 2009 and my early impressions of LBP at 3DG.
I also just got a free comic for the PSP digital comics reader. I think this service has potential to be really cool. More on that soon.
IGN: The PS3 Perspective: PSN Facebook is Dumb →
I have to agree that this is reallly just a facebook spam creation service. The trophies will come up constantly, and if you choose to activate store purchase alerts, Sony will get more free advertising.
The only part that I can see being useful is the game event based posts. That could be used to do something that people will actually be interested to read.
Report: 60% Of Britain's Xbox 360s Have Died -... →
Beyond ridiculous. Besides Halo, why are people continuing to buy these things? I honestly don’t get it.
Protip: I don’t think the exclusives 360 has are worth it to a lot of those people.
Mega 64 Mario Bros.
Mega64: Super Mario Bros. Takes a Trip back in Time
The last couple of Mega64 episodes have been quite poor in my opinion, but this one is back to the fun that was PS3 Slim Rumors.
Coming to PSN this Week: Peggle & Peggle Nights →
In related news, Peggle comes to PSN Europe in 6 months.
Seriously though, this multiplayer mode plus the promice of trophies might make me interested. We’ll see. Although most likely it’ll be expensive just like Bejeweled 2 for PS3 is.
adhocParty for PSP Available Soon –... →
This sounds really interesting that you’ll be able to play games that were originally local only online as well, breathing new life into them.
IGN New Super Mario Bros. Review
New Super Mario Bros. Wii Nintendo Wii Review - Video Review
I think 8.9 is a fair score. I mean the graphics don’t look as good as they should when compared to smash bros. brawl and galaxy. The lack of online hurts too.
It’s just another example of Nintendo making a fun game but also doing just the bare minimum necessary to make people happy. They don’t try to push...
Pinball Heroes
If this is a mini, then it’s the first one I’m interested in.
edit: I just found out this is not a mini, therefore minis still suck.
Uncharted 2, Wii Fit Plus & Borderlands Bow Big In... →
Quite sad really that Uncharted 2 sold 500 thousand copies in its first few weeks, and then Modern Warfare 2 sells potentially 12 million in its first week alone and almost 5 million in a day.
Not to say MW2 isn’t worthy of great sales, and we own it on PS3 and on steam after all, but I think you’ll be hard pressed to find many people who will tell you that they think Modern Warfare 2...
What Modern Warfare 2 Boycotters Are Playing -... →
How predictable.
Enjoying Ratchet and Clank: ACIT
The game really is fantastic. One of the best I’ve played for a while. I’m trying to alternate between it and Uncharted 2 at the moment.
So far it’s hard to tell which I like best. Good thing I don’t have to choose. What I will say though is that if you have a PS3, you really should own both of these titles.
As I posted before, I bought the collector’s edition...
App store has lots of apps!
100,000 to be precise. The question is though: does it diminish the announcement when you consider that probably about half or more of them are total wastes of time?
Well of course, but even half or a quarter of that would be impressive so you can look beyond the wii-esque shovelware to a truly revolutionary service.
Take On The PSPgo: Team Trial In PlayStation Home... →
They went to the effort of creating a PSPgo quiz just to market the system?
I will probably check it out just because I do check out the new stuff in home. But they have to do a lot to make me buy a go.
Nintendo Thinks WiiWare Demos Might Be A Good Idea... →
I would hope this would extend to full wii games if possible. Although probably not. Still a step in the right direction.
bit.ly needed to be shortened
Even though I’m just having fun with the title of this post, I have been questioning why bit.ly has been longer than all the other shorteners out there and yet it’s still the most successful. I’m sure a lot of it comes down to Twitter jumping (thats actually an unintended pun of the new name) in bed with them but regardless, they’ve actually gone ahead and added a new...
