Video footage of a recovering Bryan Stow -... →
This is just absolutely sickening. I mean for people to attack a good man at a baseball game for no reason is bad enough. But for a simple assault to escalate to a point where this man has been essentially robbed of the normal rest of his life that he would have most likely had is so appalling. I hope he makes the best possible recovery he can and wish him and his family the best.

Fixed. (by Charge Bikes) I’m not sure what to make of riding fixie bikes as a kind of new style urban riding similar to BMX and trials. I think fixie bikes are great. They’re simple, minimalistic and bulletproof for commuting and having fun. They’re fashion accessories whether you just like to glide around town or pull a few tricks. However, in this video and others in the...

McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh says small teams... →
I disagree. The simple fact is that right now and for practically as long as the sport has existed, there have only been a select few cars that can win races. This year half of the teams or more are satisfied with just a point or two at the races and that shouldn’t be the case. In an ideal world, I’d prefer there to be 2 car teams all with competitive equipment and strong drivers but...

bike ♥ (by Rick Darge) I love this. It encapsulates what it means to be a cyclist in the modern day. You want to ride your bike, often your pride and joy like a car is to motorists, but no matter what you do its security is never a guarantee. It’s a risk you take for the love of riding. The risk and reward balance between riding a fun bike and risking theft is a tough one to gauge....

(via BBC News - Hundreds take part in Worthing’s Big Bike Sunday) I can’t believe that. How did I not know about this. I’m so disappointed I missed out but I’m glad that people are doing stuff like this.

BBC News - Google to buy Motorola Mobility for... →
Interesting news. Not sure what HTC and Samsung among others will make of it but I would say for Motorola it’s a great deal to secure their future. I’m sure Nokia are jealous because they’d love to be saved by Microsoft for example.

HTC-Highroad Disbands After Failed Sponsor Search... →
Very sad day indeed. My favourite team, the best team in terms of wins will cease to exist. If this team can’t find a sponsor, then I’m sure the rest of them will be quaking in their boots at the prospect of their own sponsorship contracts needing to be renewed next time around.

Sony Buys Infamous Dev - PlayStation 3 News at IGN →
Sony have a history of buying the developers of their biggest exclusive games, and it’s not hard to understand why. If you’ve got talented teams making great games, you want to do everything you can to keep them exclusive to your platforms. Plus, as a fan of the inFamous series, I’m pleased to see this and excited about what they do next.

Google+ Users Are Nearly All Male →
This isn’t really surprising and it’s unfortunately still par for the course with most products like this. I’d like to be able to say with certainty that the general population  who obviously includes a lot of women are going to jump into G+ when it becomes publicly available to everyone, but I just don’t see it happening. People have Facebook and it works for them, so why...

My Favorite Form of Exercise
Le tour de France - 2007 - Waregem The Tour de France this year has reignited my love of cycling. I used to be a fan or more off-road and trick styles like downhill mountain biking and BMX but now I’ve become obsessed with road cycling. Jumping on my exercise bike keeps me fit and doing it in front of the TV while watching the professional riders go for it on the...

Anonymous Claims to Have Stolen Apple User Data -... →
When I was watching the recent Apple event and they mentioned about how many accounts with credit cards they had on file, it worried me that they had possibly just waved the red flag to the hackers. Apple are surely one of the biggest targets for hackers, along with people like Google, Microsoft and of course, Sony. I just hope they all step their games up to combat this problem before they...
